Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and verify insurance coverage before services.
• Determine upfront estimates and document in patient account.
• Contact patients to explain insurance coverage, benefits, and financial responsibility.
• Prepare and communicate Good Faith Estimate (GFE) per policy.
• Take inbound/outbound calls about estimates, GFEs, payments, or assistance.
• Assist with payment arrangements and uphold HIPAA confidentiality.
• Review financial assistance applications and document outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and department meetings.
