Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Financial Liaison for the SSJC Administrative Building. This full-time, benefited position reports to the Administrative Manager and focuses on patient financial responsibilities and clear communication about insurance plans.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, with strong verbal and written communication, knowledge of copays, deductibles, and coinsurance, and the ability to educate patients while maintaining service quality.

Formación

• Must be personable and detail oriented as a representative of the practice.
• Excellent verbal and written documentation skills.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to support our diverse patient base.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans.
• Experience with EMR EClinical Works preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Educate patients about patient payment responsibility, primarily in relation to ASC appointments.
• Document all communications with patients, including action details and modifications.
• Possess knowledge of copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and other medical terminology for benefits, and educate patients accordingly.
• Work accurately, independently, and maintain focus under pressure.
• Coordinate with the Insurance Verification and Insurance Authorization teams regarding pending prior authorizations.
• Schedule Peer-to-Peer meetings between external insurers and in-house providers to resolve denials.
