Adventist HealthCare’s White Oak Medical Center seeks a Patient Financial Advisor II to support care plan through-put and patient financial processes in-house. You will coordinate with case management, assist with charitable applications, and provide direct counseling with limited supervision.

The role requires at least 3 years in healthcare finance, strong knowledge of payor rules, and the ability to work with various pay sources. This is a full-time day shift with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare financial environment.
• Strong knowledge of government payor rules and regulations.
• Experience with eligibility and payment authorizations.

Responsabilités

• Support current care plan and through-put within the on-site acute medical center.
• Handle authorizations, verifications, and financial options for patients in-house.
• Coordinate with case management to ensure patients’ financial obligations are met.
• Assist patients with completing AHC charitable applications at the support center.
• Provide direct patient financial counseling as needed.
