ECU Health in North Carolina seeks a seasoned professional to lead and coordinate patient and family advisory programs across the health system. You will recruit, onboard, engage, and support PFAs, PFAC partners, and community advisors, ensuring their input informs decisions that affect patient experience and quality improvement.

You will develop and evaluate engagement initiatives, coordinate rounding and peer-support programs, and partner with clinical and operational leaders to align advisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience leading advisory councils, volunteer programs, patient engagement initiatives, community engagement programs, and quality improvement projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and data management platforms required.
• Regional travel to ECU Health facilities is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead advisor recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of Patient and Family Advisors (PFAs), PFAC Partners, Community Advisors, and focus group participants.
• Coordinate local and system-level PFACs, ensuring consistent processes, advisor participation, meeting facilitation, documentation, and action item follow-up.
• Partner with executives and clinicians to identify opportunities for advisor engagement on committees, councils, and improvement teams.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that strengthen patient and family engagement.
• Coordinate advisor rounding and peer-support programs, including training and program evaluation.
• Support quality and performance improvement initiatives with metrics, SOPs, and outcome measures.
• Develop meeting agendas, facilitate sessions, and manage follow-up activities for advisory groups.
• Maintain advisor databases and generate reports for leadership.
• Develop communications and outreach to increase participation in advisory programs.
