Job summary

Borland Groover seeks a Medical Office Specialist to be the first point of contact in our GI clinics. The MOS provides non-clinical administrative support, greets patients, schedules appointments, verifies insurance, and processes payments at check-in/check-out.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong customer service, accuracy in data entry, and comfort with EMR/EHR systems, Phreesia, and office technology in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to operate a computer, copier, fax, and scanner.
• Experience with EMR or medical software preferred.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors to the clinic.
• Verify insurance and collect copays/deductibles.
• Schedule appointments and procedures with providers.
• Enter patient data into EMR/PM systems.
• Answer phones and route inquiries.
• Travel between World Golf Village and Durbin Crossing as needed.
