Borland Groover is hiring a Medical Office Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients and manage non-clinical administrative tasks in a busy gastroenterology clinic. The role includes greeting patients, scheduling, insurance verification, data entry in the EHR, and collecting copays at check-in.

The MOS will ensure smooth patient flow, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with clinicians and staff in a fast-paced environment in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors and answer questions.
• Verify insurance and update patient registration in the EHR system.
• Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures across locations.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in/out.
• Assist with general office duties and maintain HIPAA compliance.
