Birmingham OB/Gyn is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk / Patient Check-In Representative to join our team. The front desk is often a patient's first interaction, so we value excellent customer service, accuracy, and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is welcoming, compassionate, and able to work efficiently in a busy medical office environment. Experience helps, but attitude and reliability are equally important; Phreesia knowledge is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Check patients in and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Update patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments as appropriate.
• Complete necessary registration and consent documentation.
• Assist patients with questions and direct them appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient arrivals and scheduling concerns.
• Answer and route telephone calls as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front-office environment.
• Work in Phreesia to verify patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
