Job summary

The Covenant Health Ministry seeks a Patient Service Representative to act as the ambassador and primary contact for practices and patients in our community. You will collect payments, schedule appointments, gather demographics and insurance, and coordinate ancillary services to support patient care.

You will model AIDET behaviors, maintain licenses, and contribute to a welcoming environment while ensuring accurate information exchange between patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one-year direct experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer and telephone skills.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for patients and providers.
• Coordinate ancillary services for patient care.
• Ask for and collect payments at the time of service.
• Promote Covenant Health values and mission.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments to optimize flow and customer service.
• Maintain licenses, certifications, and complete annual compliance courses.
• Assist students and contribute to creating a welcoming environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
