Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a patient scheduling and front desk associate in San Diego, CA. The role runs from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (8-hour shift) with no weekend requirements and no on-call duties. The pay range is hourly and reflects experience and internal factors.

You will handle patient scheduling, reception, data entry in electronic health records, and coordination with providers. A HS diploma and customer service experience are required; hospital setting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 Year Customer service experience (preferred).
• Medical or hospital setting experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs patient scheduling, reception, and other assigned department operational tasks.
• Greets patients, providers, staff and all other team members with eye contact, smiling and acknowledging person by name.
• Registers patients in electronic health record systems and schedules appointments.
• Maintains medical records and ensures confidentiality of information.
• Answers telephones within 3 rings and transfers calls appropriately.
