Qualifications

• Medical terminology proficiency.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, RVS and CPT-4 coding.
• Basic computer skills and office software.
• Experience with billing, scheduling, and front-office functions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient demographic, visit, and financial information.
• Coordinate scheduling and bed control to ensure proper patient placement.
• Register and bill in compliance with Medicare/M Medicaid and JCAHO guidelines.
• Prepare and verify pre-authorization and pre-billing tasks where applicable.
• Support department as needed and ensure high-quality patient service.
