Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a patient service representative in Orlando to provide premium front-desk service for outpatient visits. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and manage registrations with accuracy.

In a fast-paced clinic environment, you will communicate with patients, physicians, and staff, handle payments, and prepare daily reports, while upholding compassionate service and clinical workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Medical terminology a plus.
• Basic understanding of insurance and authorizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including telephone etiquette and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors upon arrival.
• Schedules therapy appointments and handles cancellations/rescheduling.
• Verifies referrals and insurance information; coordinates with CIU for urgent verifications.
• Prepares and processes registration packets for initial visits.
• Maintains clinic inventory and orders supplies; performs light cleaning and organization.
• Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by management.
• Handles billing issues with active accounts in cooperation with the Business Office.
• Records end-of-day summaries and deposits; balances cash drawer.
• Logs referrals and tracks activity in the Referral Database.
• Provides general office support (filing, copying, faxing) as needed.
