Valley Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients within the physicians’ network. The role supports scheduling, registration, and revenue capture while delivering high-quality customer service in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will handle appointment scheduling, patient intake, and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with clinic guidelines. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations.
• Experience working with diverse people both inside and outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and over the phone with a welcoming, professional manner.
• Schedule outpatient appointments and manage referrals following clinic guidelines.
• Collect demographic and financial information and input accurately into the Epic system.
• Process payments, balance cash drawer, and handle daily cash verification.
• Provide registration support and ensure timely revenue capture for the practice.
