Salt City Dental is seeking a Patient Coordinator to serve as the liaison between the back-office and patients. You will educate patients on financial options and ensure smooth scheduling, with a friendly, patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, organizational skills, and computer proficiency, and will greet each patient with a smile while protecting patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming phone calls and schedule patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and update patient accounts.
• Coordinate schedules with Dentist and Hygienist to fit patients' needs.
• Maintain patient care database by entering new information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Direct arriving patients to waiting areas and update waiting times.
• Follow policies to prevent the spread of bloodborne and airborne diseases.
