Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a patient services coordinator to join our rehab flexible workforce team and support up to 25 outpatient rehab clinics across the Twin Cities metro area. The PSC is highly organized, empathetic, and communicates well to manage scheduling, registration, reception duties, and clerical tasks while ensuring an outstanding patient experience across multiple sites.

This role requires travel to various metro-area sites and offers comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Training required.
• Clerical and scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes scheduling and registration functions
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Produces efficient and accurate schedules and reports
• Records and updates schedule changes accurately and communicates changes to involved staff
• Adds pertinent information and documents into the patient record
• Arrange for interpreter services when appropriate
• Completes clerical and reception duties
• Answers, screens, and responds to telephone calls
• Reviews and routes scans, faxes, mail and messages
• Maneuvers data pulling and reporting tasks
