Job summary

The Mankato Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Patient Support Coordinator at our Main Street Clinic in Mankato, MN. You will greet, register and schedule patients in person and by phone, delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment from 8 am to 8 pm on three 12-hour shifts during weekdays and every third weekend.

90-day CPR certification is required after hire. You will work with providers and staff to support patient care needs, learn electronic health records and payment systems,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Mankato Clinic.
• Schedule patient appointments including follow-ups, cancellations, confirmations, and rescheduling.
• Register patients in person and by phone.
• Accept and enter payments in computer system.
• Update insurance and verify personal information.
• Distribute, explain and collect patient forms.
• Answer patient questions and direct to correct areas.
• Perform clerical functions as needed for the department.
