Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Project Manager to lead patient and family experience improvement initiatives across Worcester campuses. You will design, manage and report on projects, coordinating with leaders, providers and staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years of related experience and 3 years in project management, with strong MS Office skills. Hybrid work with some on-site days at Worcester campuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.
• Must have a driver’s license to move between campuses.
• Five years related work experience in Business, Healthcare or related field.
• Three years of project management experience.
• Ability to multi-task, trace progress and quality of project plans, as well as ongoing work.
• Ability to work independently and as a coordinated team member.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
• MS Office Suite proficiency, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Access knowledge.
• Lean Management principles knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design improvement projects and initiatives across Medical Center and Medical Group.
• Manage projects to completion with teams, plans, timelines and deliverables.
• Establish metrics and adjust activities to ensure project success.
• Create regular communications and reports for leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop presentations for department or hospital level use.
