Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison (Non-RN) to support the Call Center and Practice with excellent patient service. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to adapt to flexible schedules while maintaining productivity standards.

The position emphasizes accurate patient data management, adherence to registration criteria, and coordination of referrals and scheduling across practitioners to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing and general clerical skills.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge and two years medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly in a professional, courteous manner.
• Maintain defined performance metrics according to productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patients according to guidelines.
• Verify and update patient information in the computer system.
• Ensure patient registrations are complete and accurate in the system.
• Take messages for staff and route them per policy.
• Cooperate in cross-training of clinic specialties for coverage.
• Process referrals in work queues and schedule patients from referrals.
• Orient new patients to the Clinic and inform them of financial policies.
• Assist with appointment requests and related duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
