Job summary

Bon Secours St Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA is seeking a friendly, compassionate housekeeping team member to join the EVS group and support the patient satisfaction program (HCAHPS). You will act as a liaison between EVS, nursing and other departments to deliver excellent care.

We offer full-time schedules with day, evening and night shifts. Wage is $18/hour, and applicants must pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
• Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with an eye for detail.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Preferred: Housekeeping experience in healthcare or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient satisfaction scores and assess action plans for improvement.
• Provide department leadership with weekly reports and a detailed review.
• Create reports, monitor trends, and implement action plans.
• Round on patients to assess satisfaction and set service expectations.
• Perform service recovery as needed to resolve issues.
• Assist leadership in training and reinforce communication skills with team.
• Collaborate with guest services to align actions for better patient satisfaction.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.
