Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Experience Manager at SSM Health St Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The Patient Experience Manager will direct and oversee customer experience related to Food and Environmental Services at this medical center.

This strategic leader will drive overall patient experience and process improvement while mentoring and developing others. Lead initiatives that enhance patient-centered care, rounding with patients, gathering feedback, and driving improvements

Qualifications

• Experience improving patient satisfaction in a healthcare environment.
• Experience rounding with patients, families, and clinical staff to gather feedback and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of food service operations, patient dining, and meal accuracy standards.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation compliance, and safe work practices.
• Experience coaching, training, and overseeing hourly staff in patient services and diet office functions.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that enhance patient-centered care and service excellence by rounding with patients, gathering feedback, and driving improvements across the hospital.
• Partner with nursing, clinical teams, and support services to ensure safe, consistent service practices, and coach staff through audits, training, and process improvements.
• Analyze patient satisfaction trends to implement action plans and foster a culture of quality, safety, and exceptional service.
