Job summary

Summit Dental is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients. You will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, handle correspondence, and support office management to create a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and staff.

The role requires excellent communication, professional demeanor, and strong administrative capabilities, with experience in dental front desk duties being a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Dentrix Dental Software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs.
• Experience with front desk operations in medical or dental offices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls professionally.
• Maintain an organized front desk area including filing, data entry, and patient record proofreading.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Dentrix dental software.
• Handle patient/Doctor correspondence via email, phone, fax, and mail with attention to detail.
• Support insurance claim submission, pre-authorizations, and aging reports.
• Coordinate office supplies, inventory control, and general administrative tasks.
• Present dental treatment plans and financials to patients with accuracy.
