You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, verify eligibility in EMR, and help manage daily schedules to reduce wait times while maintaining confidentiality and a patient-centered approach. This role requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Front desk operations and patient coordination experience preferred.
• Proficient in EMR and practice management systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and deliver patient-centered service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and serve as primary contact.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider calendars.
• Confirm appointments and reduce no-show rates.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter data into EMR.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Prepare charts and documentation ahead of visits.
• Process charges and payments in EMR; assist with claims.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules as needed.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical/optical teams for seamless care transitions.
• Support retention through recalls and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office; perform other duties as assigned.
