Job summary

OnePeak Medical is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Eugene, OR to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.

You will register patients, update demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, verify information, and manage payments while upholding HIPAA and clinic policies. This role may require travel to other clinics and supports a welcoming, efficient front desk environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of customer service experience required.
• 6 months front desk or scheduling experience in a medical office strongly preferred.
• Prior PM/EHR experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance payors preferred.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and welcome patients and visitors.
• Register patients and update demographics and insurance information.
• Maintain confidentiality of restricted areas and system passwords.
• Manage a multi-line telephone system and schedule appointments.
• Verify patient information and update payment methods as needed.
• Collect copays and balances and document in the EPM.
• Maintain reception area and office files.
• Address patient complaints with problem-solving skills.
• Attend meetings and fulfill end-of-day duties.
• Support clinic operations as needed.
