Capital Health is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our outpatient operations. You will greet patients, handle multi-line calls, schedule tests and appointments, and verify insurance information for accurate check-in and check-out.

A strong focus on HIPAA compliance and patient privacy is essential. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1 year of healthcare receptionist or customer service experience, and solid skills in medical terminology and office software.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones promptly and courteously, routing calls to the appropriate area.
• Schedules and cancels appointments; arranges outpatient tests and surgeries per policy.
• Prepares day for operations; reviews eligibility, tabs new patient charts, and processes paperwork.
