Job summary

Columbus Ophthalmology Associates is seeking a Patient Coordinator to be the first contact for patients, ensuring a smooth check-in/out experience with excellent care.

You will manage patient flow, verify insurance, and communicate with doctors and staff. This full-time role requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to work across multiple clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Favourable result on Background Check
• Basic computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Excitement to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during each patient encounter
• Answer phones and assure prompt, courteous service
• Practice urgency with patients’ time and staff schedules
• Manage patient flow in the office
• Know common fees and collect correct payments
• Close day cash drawer and reconciliations
• General office duties assigned by manager
