Job summary

University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Concierge to enhance patient, family and guest experience at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. You will respond to inquiries, develop resources, coordinate events, and mentor volunteers while upholding privacy standards.

The role requires collaboration with hospital leadership and staff, attention to safety, and ability to work off-hours for events; Notary duties may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in customer service in healthcare or hospitality settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Concierge services for patients, families and internal/external customers.
• Respond to inquiries online, in person, and by phone regarding hospital services and amenities.
• Identify and resolve guest complaints; promote safety and confidentiality.
• Develop informational resources and supervise Concierge volunteers and related programs.
• Assist with events, training, and coordination of Notaries when needed.
