Zusammenfassung

OU Health is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist II with clinical experience to support system-wide patient and family advocacy within the Patient Experience department. You will partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely response to complaints and uphold patient rights in a complex, fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include service recovery, documentation, investigations, and communications with patients or representatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years in a healthcare position with direct patient/family interaction or 3 years in a risk management role with direct navigation of complaints.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Supports daily operations of the Patient Relations team and fields complaints in all modalities.
• Reviews and analyzes files, escalating to grievances as appropriate.
• Provides service recovery and de-escalation to help patients navigate the complaint process.
• Ensures timeliness of acknowledgments and resolution letters in compliance with policy.
• Documents complaints accurately in the Patient Relations software and reports trends.
