Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of full-time employment in a clinical or critical care area is preferred.
• Evidence of customer service skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, visitation, physical comfort, and emotional support to families and visitors.
• Respond to family and visitor concerns with empathetic communication; proactive service interventions.
• Coordinate with volunteers and other OSU services; communicate updates to families.
• Regular rounding and facilitation of communication among families and visitors; provide non-clinical information.
