Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Guest Relations Representative (PRN) to enhance patient satisfaction by visiting patients, coordinating translations, and addressing unmet needs. The role includes coordinating with BSWH personnel, supporting international patients, and providing information about policies and services.

The position requires strong conflict-resolution skills, professional customer communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience: 1 Year of Experience.
• Must have exceptional skills in conflict resolution and patient-centered communication.
• Must possess exceptional professionalism with customer communication.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to focus on crucial patient and guest details.
• Proficiency with computers in the Microsoft Office suite of software desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient satisfaction by visiting with patients to ensure patient's medical and non-medical needs are met.
• Resolves immediate patient needs by contacting appropriate BSWH personnel and following up with complainant.
• Works with BSWH personnel to offer help and mercy to patient and guest concerns.
• Obtains patient and family feedback on services and documents complaints and compliments.
• Assists patient and family with interpretation through American Sign Language and other translation methods.
• Explains medical center policies and provides general information about BSWH facilities.
• Provides scheduling and coordinating campus tours for domestic and foreign visitors.
• Coordinates international patient needs to meet financial requirements and insurance coverage before treatments.
• Rounds in ED reception area to communicate policies and patient needs.
