Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Successful completion of in-house training program on patient lift and mobility within 6 months of placement in job.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transport of patients, beds, oxygen, supplies and equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and/or from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, stretchers, gurneys and other transport equipment.
• Respond to patient fall codes by transporting patient lift equipment and assisting nursing staff.
• Maintain clinical equipment by following manufacturers' cleaning protocols.
• Prioritize and organize workflow with a service-oriented, professional attitude and sound decision-making.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to requesting departments, confirming receipt and assisting with unloading.
