Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Patient Transport team member to mobilize patients with lift equipment and assist healthcare professionals in safe transports throughout the facility. You will transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients using the transport tracking system, while monitoring patients and ensuring a safe environmental pathway.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualificações

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED.
• 1 Year Hospital experience or similar experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with mobilizing patients using lift equipment and/or mobilization aids under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and patients using the transport tracking system; ensure patients are monitored and routes are safe.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, coworkers and hospital staff to support safe, efficient transports.
• Maintain logs and adhere to patient identification protocols and hand-off procedures.
