Job summary

Stout Street Recuperative Care Center (SSRCC) seeks a Manager of Patient Activities and Volunteers to oversee patient engagement, activities, and volunteer services during the stay. You will recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers while partnering with community organizations to expand programming in alignment with patient care goals.

The role requires coordinating programs and maintaining records, with a focus on inclusivity and high-quality service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates patient activities, classes, and programs to support well-being during patients' stay.
• Recruits, trains, schedules, supervises, and recognizes volunteers who support patient activities and services.
• Assesses patient interests and uses feedback to improve activities and programming.
• Cultivates partnerships with community organizations to expand programming and resources.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary staff to align activities with patient care goals.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of patient activities and volunteer services; manages scheduling and documentation.
• Manages departmental budget, data, records, and related documentation within budget parameters.
• Ensures timely and accurate use of company systems and maintains up-to-date records.
