Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles, Inc is seeking a Patient Retention & Utilization Specialist to drive outreach, improve service utilization, and coordinate care across FHCCGLA clinics.

The role focuses on contacting patients, aiding appointment adherence, explaining benefits, and collaborating with Quality Improvement to enhance access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; FQHC experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual English/Spanish.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Computer skills in NextGen EHR/PMS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients to support retention and utilization of FHCCGLA services.
• Coordinate scheduling and transportation where needed.
• Educate patients on health coverage options and benefits.
• Collaborate with departments to improve access to care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient data.
• Participate in quarterly trainings and committee meetings.
