Job summary

Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles seeks a Patient Retention & Utilization Specialist to drive patient engagement and maximize utilization of FHCCGLA services across departments in the greater Los Angeles area.

The role focuses on outreach to active and non-active patients, coordinating transportation assistance, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA while navigating CHDP, Medi-Cal, Medicare and other programs to improve access to care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• FQHC experience highly preferred.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve utilization and patient retention strategies.
• Collaborate across departments to improve access to care.
• Reduce no-show rates by enhancing patient communication.
• Coordinate transportation and eligibility for benefits.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient data confidentiality.
