The role uses DrChrono EHR to manage records, referrals, and communications while upholding HIPAA and clinic policies.

You will support office operations, patient outreach, and marketing efforts, ensuring a smooth, professional clinic experience across California locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Customer service experience required (3 years).
• Medical receptionist experience (2 years) and EMR familiarity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, provide information on services and billing.
• Answer calls/texts and direct messages; schedule appointments.
• Manage appointment scheduling in DrChrono EHR and inform providers of cancellations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate patient records.
• Coordinate referrals, faxes, mail and ROI processing for care coordination.
• Run reports for compliance and assist with EHR documentation.
• Support office management and HIPAA compliance; pursue patient outreach and marketing initiatives.
