JMH in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support Case Management and Social Services in coordinating timely hospital discharges and transfers. You will perform clerical tasks under the supervision of the Case Management Manager and engage with EHR systems to document care processes.

The role requires 2 years in healthcare, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification within 90 days. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR navigation is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience (acute inpatient or ambulatory).
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Experience with electronic health records and related software.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clerical support to Case Management and Social Services to assist with discharge/transfer.
