Job summary

Unidine is recruiting for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Fauquier Health in Warrenton, VA. The role involves helping patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in service.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour, with full-time schedule from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm and rotating weekends. Join a supportive team at a leading hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies in food handling and patient privacy.
• Support dietitians by monitoring patients on specific diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly and document daily tasks as required.
