Job summary
Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate at UVA Health Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. Shifts include AM/PM with rotating weekends; uniforms provided and meals discounted. Prior customer service required; food service experience preferred. Fixed pay rate $17.50/hr.
You will join a caring team responsible for menu assistance, tray assembly, timely delivery, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Previous food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
- Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, religious, or other preferences.
- Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
- Follow HIPAA policies and accept confidentiality and patient rights.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
- Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets as needed.
- Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
