Job summary

Compass Group USA's Unidine unit is seeking a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time role in a healthcare facility. The schedule runs 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with weekends possibly rotating; the position offers training and a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meal trays, and collaborate with nursing and culinary teams to ensure accurate timing and temperatures while maintaining HIPAA and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food carts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet dietary needs.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to each patient’s orders.
• Adhere to HIPAA, HACCP and facility confidentiality policies.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets or calorie counting.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations per facility policies.
