Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, set up, and serve food and materials for patient and cafeteria areas.
• Clean equipment and areas related to assigned duties.
• Prepare and serve foods for patient meals and snacks according to menus.
• Ensure areas are stocked and ready for service across shifts.
• Interact with residents/patients and provide essential dietary services.
• Assist with food preparation and service using safe handling techniques.
• Portion foods for regular and therapeutic diets per planned menus.
• Use standardized recipes and present meals attractively.
• Deliver meals and snacks to designated areas on schedule.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and log temperature checks.
• Label, date, and store food properly.
• Communicate inventory and supply needs to supervisor.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely; report issues.
• Work as a team and uphold hospital mission and policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
