Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Patient Services Lead at UVA Haymarket in Haymarket, VA. The role coordinates patient meal service, supervises dining associates, and ensures nutrition needs and preferences are met in a healthcare setting.

Daily duties include supervising staff, coordinating menu options for allergies and cultural needs, and collaborating with nursing and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read safety rules and manuals.
• Experience with hospital ADT systems or similar computer-based systems.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversees systems and processes to achieve patient dining program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure menu selections, tray assembly and delivery/pick-up.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities and religious or cultural preferences.
• Interact with nursing to evaluate daily patient meal selections and tray processes.
• Adhere to HIPAA, HACCP and health regulations; complete daily/weekly/monthly reports.
