Job summary

The Catering To You - Patient Dining Associate at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for assisting patients with menu selections and coordinating with the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure nutritious meals and patient satisfaction.

You will work closely with clinical staff regarding nutrition needs, adapt to diet restrictions, and help deliver meals on trays while maintaining accurate patient information and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service skills required.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with menu selections and coordinates with the Food and Nutrition Department.
• Works with clinical staff regarding patient nutrition needs and dietary requirements.
• Delivers and picks up meal trays, and maintains accurate patient information.
• Communicates patient-related problems to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
