Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Catering to You - Patient Dining Associate to assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure meals meet dietary needs.

You will work closely with clinical staff to tailor meals to patient nutrition requirements, while maintaining nutritious and satisfying offerings and delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

The Catering to You - Patient Dining Associate is responsible for assisting our patients with menu selections and works hand-in-hand with our Food and Nutrition Department. This individual will work closely with our clinical staff regarding patient nutrition needs or requirements and use this knowledge to cater to specific patient requests and needs all the while keeping meals nutritious and satisfactory.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Customer service skills
• Proficiency with basic computer skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
• Strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers
