Job summary

PruittHealth - Orangeburg, SC is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation and meal service for patients/residents in accordance with our facility guidelines. This role supports cooks and ensures proper tray delivery and sanitation throughout the dining operations.

You will help with food preparation, portioning, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment while complying with infection control procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: previous food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows diet orders and NPO diet orders.
• Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts and/or snacks for patients/residents; i.e. salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Cleans tables in the dining area after each meal.
