Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure nutrition requirements are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies, restrictions, and preferences.
• Assemble meals accurately per patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with HIPAA, HACCP, and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
