Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Eastern State Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Eastern State Hospital in Lexington, KY. The role supports patient meal service and menu selections.

Prior food service experience is preferred. The position offers discounted meals, a 401k, and paid time off with a fixed pay rate of $16.20 per hour. Schedule details provided during interview.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with HACCP guidelines, HIPAA, and sanitation policies.
• Monitor and report any issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
