Job summary

Avalon Health & Rehab is seeking a dependable kitchen helper to support cooks with meal preparation, tray delivery, and dining area upkeep. You will assist with desserts, beverages, and nourishments while observing infection control procedures.

The role requires basic computer skills (Outlook/Excel/Word) and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits at our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals and carry trays to patients.
• Clean tables and dining area after meals; assist with salads and desserts.
• Serve beverages to patients and prepare between-meal nourishments.
• Set up tray line and perform tray line service; follow diet orders.
