Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per menu created by dieticians.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, slicer, oven, steamer).
• Cleans work surfaces and stores unused foods.
• Ensures meals are prepared in large quantities for elderly residents.
• Maintains infection control and cleans equipment.
• Records temperatures and monitors stock levels.
• Follows diet orders and substitutions.
• Provides timely meal service.
