Qualifications

• Three months related experience in food service and/or hospitality environment.
• Some training beyond high school is preferred.
• No Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to patients.
• Assesses patient's ability to utilize the meal ordering system and assists patients in placing meal orders.
• Explains menus and processes to patients.
• Serves food trays to patients.
• Participates in retrieval of calorie count and carbohydrate counting tickets for clinical follow up.
• Retrieves food trays and meal carts and records patients' fluids and food intake.
• Attends departmental meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
