Qualifications

• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
• Knowledge of basic therapeutic diets and experience in hospital food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Answers and processes telephone calls in a polite and courteous manner when dealing with all customers of the Call Center.
• Explains diet and assists patient with appropriate selections; assists patients in their rooms with menu selections; encourages balanced meals.
• Delivers patients' meals directly to patients or to Room Service Associates; prepares bedside tables for meal delivery.
• Prepares floor stock sheets; rotates stock; keeps nursing kitchens clean and organized.
• Gathers, delivers and stores floor supplies; maintains HACCP documentation.
