Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Trayline Attendant/Room Service Attendant to assemble meals, deliver trays, and maintain cleanliness in the patient dining area.

You will follow HACCP procedures, stock supplies, assist in dish area, and support patient meal service during shifts, including nights and weekends. This role requires minimal prior experience and basic computer skills; strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Some High School required, High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meals as ordered; prepare trays to par levels.
• Deliver patient trays to nursing floors and maintain tray line flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment; sanitize surfaces.
• Follow HACCP procedures and monitor temperatures.
• Prepare floor stock sheets and rotate stock in the kitchen.
• Assist in dish room and returns to the tray assembly area.
• Attend safety trainings and other assigned duties.
